Boost HBO series Betty with a culturally relevant digital approach 
& streetwear brand crossover.

In a follow-up to the beloved teen drama Skate Kitchen directed by Crystal Moselle, Betty tells the story of a group of young women intertwined in each other’s fates, bonding through their love of skateboarding.

To launch the breakout title, we sought to create community in a moment of isolation caused by the 2020 COVID outbreak. Navigating this unprecedented landscape, we brought the Betty audience together across digital platforms through virtual gatherings.





Imagining Betty as a lifestyle brand, we teamed up with fan favorites Come Tees, Canal New York, 
and Unity Skateboarding in one-of-a-kind collaboration of products for the greater Betty Community. 






The celebration culminated in a Live Series Premiere Party hosted on the @BettyHBO Instagram account. DJ sets and performances by Dede Lovelace, Caroline Polachek, Yaeji, and Grimes entertained fans as the party counted down to the episode premiere. Grimes even had a special announcement for party attendees.
